What are your phone and chat hours?

Our phone and chat hours are Mon-Fri from 8AM - 5PM Pacific Standard Time.

If contacted during non-business hours, we will aim to respond promptly upon returning to the office.

How do I track my order?

You can track your order(s) under My Account.

You will be notified via email when your order has shipped. If tracking information is available, it will be included in the email. Please note that not all orders have tracking information.

What are your shipping details?

We offer FREE standard shipping on all orders with 3 or more items. Valid for orders shipping within the continental US only. Minimum purchase of 3 items. No minimum order price. Offer automatically added at checkout. Excludes select freight items & drop ships. Orders with 2 items or less ship standard for $18.

Can I ship to a PO Box?

Shipping to a PO Box may come at a higher cost. We recommend shipping to a physical address whenever possible to avoid any surprises.

What is your return policy?

We aim to make sure our customers love our products, but if you do need to return an item, we’re happy to help. We have a 30 day return/exchange policy. All returns are subject to a restocking fee up to 25% of the purchase price. Please see our Returns Policy for more information.

What should I do if there is an issue with my product or package?

If you encounter any issues with your product or damage to the package, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt. To help us resolve the matter swiftly, it would be helpful if you could provide images of any damage when reporting the issue. Remember, don't throw away the packaging or label before we sort things out. We value your business and will do our best to make things right.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes we do! Shop gift cards here. American Shifter digital gift cards are a great gift for anyone and never expire! Available in $10, $25, $50, $100 and $200 denominations.

Do you have a physical store I can visit?

No, American Shifter Company is an eCommerce business with warehouses in Oregon. We do not offer any pickup or will-call service.

Are your products only for cars?

No way! While our shifting products are perfect for cars, they can also be used in other vehicles like trucks, motorcycles, golf carts, semis and even boats.

Will I need an adapter for my shift knob?

Our shift knobs include a threaded universal 16mm x 1.5 installed machined metal insert. But depending on your make and model this knob may require an adapter.
