Need to change your 5 speed or 6 speed manual shifter stick? We’ve got the whole range from 23" double bend shifter arms to 6” straight shifter arms. Get the leg room, leverage and shifter feel you want. Each stick is hardened steel and includes upper and lower tapered nut.
This item number includes our TKO adapter (ASCAD29). It bolts on to all stock and most aftermarket TKO and Magnum Tremec transmission shifters. This allows for the most custom shifter stick install on the market. Includes shifter arm and adapter. Shift knob NOT included.
American Shifter's TKO adapter's unique adjustable design allows you to set the angle of the shift arm resulting in the ultimate shift experience. Made from high quality 45 steel then zinc coated to resist rust and provide a long life of smooth shifting.

Is the adapter threaded? If so, what's the thread size?
Yes, the adapter has 5/8–18 thread and fits American Shifter shift arms or arms with 5/8–18 threaded end.
What are the details for the adapter mounting holes?
Includes 2 mount holes (15/16” center to center)
Is this adjustable?
Yes, American Shifters unique adjustable design allows you to set the angle of the shift arm resulting in the ultimate shift experience.
How do I know what arm length to choose?
The correct length of shift arm for your application can be measured out ahead of time.
With the transmission installed, measure down through the hole in the floor to the top of the transmission, holding the tape measure where the shifter knob would be comfortable. Subtract 5.5” from the measurement and that would be the length of shifter arm needed.
What are your shifter arms made of?
Our one-piece design shift arms are made from hardened steel and provide superior feedback for performance shifting.
All of the American Shifter shift arms feature show quality chrome plating or satin black finish.
The adapter is made of billet steel with a zinc finish.
What's the size of the lower & upper threads of the arm?
- Upper Threads: 3/8-24
- Lower Threads: 5/8-18
