These adapters come with common industry standard M16 x 1.5 threads which fit most of our 1000s of shift knobs. Other adapters based on (M16 x 1.5) are available in both SAE and Metric formats so you can fit any knob to any car.

How do I make sure my shift knob won’t come loose after installation?
You can use some Loctite or a spray of silicone on the threads of the insert before installation for a budge-free smooth shifting experience.
What do I do if my knob rattles?
American Shifter shift knobs use a machined metal insert which provides rock-solid shifting and should not rattle.
Make sure your shift knob is installed properly and uses the correct adapter.
